This ESU modular speaker baffle set suitable for a single miniature speaker, you can easily assemble your tailor made speaker baffle for two miniature speakers. Both the overall diameter and height can be individually adapted to suit your needs.
Even with one speaker, the audio pressure is considerably better than with one circular speaker intended for these dimensions.
The popular sugar cube speaker 11×15 mm and 8 Ohm impedance is supplied with a sealed mounting plate.
First select one of the three base frames subject to the type of speaker you want to assemble, namely a circular frame with either 20 mm or 23 mm diameter or a rectangular type with 16×25 mm.
After you have inserted the speaker into the base frame, you may now determine the height of the speaker baffle.
The minimum height is 6 mm, which can be raised to 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm or 13 mm by adding up to three intermediate frames.
The set contains two 2 mm high and one 3 mm high intermediate frames that can easily be fixed with some glue suitable for plastic.
The higher the speaker baffle, the better the bass fidelity.
It certainly pays off to utilise the entire space available.
