The Next18 adapter board is suitable if you want to digitize a very small locomotive without a digital interface (Not DCC Ready), but do not want to freely wire the decoder.
With dimensions of only 13.0 mm x 9.0 mm, the circuit board is kept extremely small in size and is also equipped with a fastening strap that can be broken off.
Power amplifiers (approx. 180mA each) are on board for the AUX3 and AUX4 functions, which are designed as logic outputs on the decoder according to the standard.  This will convert them from logic to powered outputs, taking the total up to 6 outputs that can be used for lighting.
Connection cables already soldered with a length of approx. 20 cm for the most important contacts ensure easy handling and wiring.
 
This adapter board is used when you have a Next18 decoder and a loco that is not DCC ready, where it requires a hard-wired installation of the decoder.
